Javier Espinosa

Journalist, El Mundo

With a degree in journalism, Javier Espinosa, born in 1964 in Spain, is covering conflicts since his first experience in Tel Aviv, in 1991, during the Gulf War I. Since then he has covered over 15 wars, traveling around 4 continents and visiting almost 100 countries. He was the South America and then Africa correspondent, and is since 2002 the Middle East correspondent for the Spanish daily El Mundo, based in Beirut (Lebanon).
